Infiniti to move HQ to Hong Kong
Nissan has big plans for its luxury Infiniti brand. Already a sizeable marque in North America, Infiniti are pushing hard to be recognised in Europe as a credible alternative to Lexus, and are looking to make hay in South East Asia and China as those economies become the world’s financial powerhouses. So the news that Infiniti are to up sticks and move their global headquarters to Hong Kong makes sense on several fronts.

Peugeot's TT: the 308 RC Z

Peugeot clearly thinks so - its Frankfurt show star, the new 308 RC Z unveiled today, looks like a Chinese facsimile of the Mk1 TT, especially viewed in profile. Kia rolls out a possible next member of its youth market-targeting Soul family at the Detroit Auto Show . Taking a page from the roadster playbook, the Soul'ster concept drops a set of doors from the Soul SUV, which goes on sale this spring, shortens the windshield and adds a two-piece removable top. Roll bars offer occupants additional protection not normally found on convertibles, and house a slider track cargo system.
